

As a local grass-roots organisation, the CWCC is uniquely placed to understand the issues confronting women in Cambodia, and to lobby on their behalf to bring about lasting change. The CWCC aims these efforts at changing local policies and practices in ways which will ensure that women have the rights, opportunities and resources they need to improve and control their lives.

Trafficking of Cambodian Women & Children to Malaysia (255 kb Adobe acrobat)
The report presents the finding from a fact-finding mission which assessed the conditions and magnitude of regional trafficking rings that force Cambodian women and girls in the situation akin to white slavery in Malaysia; and explored the venue for concrete cooperation between agencies in Malaysia and Cambodia for the social/legal redress and duly repatriation of Cambodian trafficked women and children.
